A retired financial advisor, Tom decided to take a page from Harland Sanders playbook and started a new career after age 60. In addition to writing novels and screenplays, he began writing fantasy sports articles as a freelance writer for various sports magazines, including Texas Sports Monthly. He joined the staff of CreativeSports in 2020, where he focuses on football. Tom writes fantasy sports from the perspective of a player, sharing analysis, commentary and strategies he has learned as a successful player.
