Dan and Kelly Grogan Fantasy Sports Pioneers

Dan and Kelly Grogan founded Grogan's Fantasy Football in 1986. Grogan's Fantasy Football Analyst magazine was dedicated to providing fantasy football information and opinions. It was the first magazine of its kind on the newsstand.
In 1991 the Grogan's added one of the first fantasy football websites to complete the magazine. With the website they were able to offer more timely premium content to a fast-growing fantasy sports market.
The Grogans started a second fantasy publication the Fantasy Football Advisor in 1990.
In 2004 they developed and marketed a fantasy football game called Rush for 2000 and partnered with the RAM restaurant group, Inc to provide the game to their patrons at 27 locations in seven states.
Grogan's were sold to Athlon sports of Nashville Tennessee and both joined Athlon's, managing the fantasy football operations until 2010 and after 25 years said goodbye to the fantasy football business.
Dan was elected to the fantasy Sports Writers Association Hall of Fame in 2012.
