By Emil Kadlec

Patrick Hughes started producing fantasy commissioner software in 1988. He quickly started distributing it nationally to stores like egghead and was the first company to distribute fantasy software nationally.
He started working with Miller Brewing Company in 1989 working with 6500 bars around the country running the Miller Brewing Company fantasy leagues.
His product is displayed in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH with Terry Bradshaw and is the only fantasy product shown in the NFL Hall of Fame.
In 1990 he received a U.S. patent award on fantasy sports products. He was also on the 1988 "Inside The NFL" hosted by Steve Sabol and Harry Kallas.
