Ray Flowers Fantasy Sports Pioneer

Ray Flowers was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. During graduate school he started doing work for a couple websites, initially for free, then he got paid somewhat minimal money. As graduate school progressed, he also became more and more interested in a career in fantasy sports. He received his break for a full-time job with fantasyhockey.com. At this time, he was considering continuing school for a PhD but opted for a fantasy sports career.
FantasyHockey.com was a new site under the parent company FantasyPlanet.com. Ray helped them build the fantasy hockey site from its infancy. While covering hockey he also began to cover major-league Baseball, and the NFL.
He worked for several companies including Daily Racing Form, Fanball.com, Rotowire, FantasyAlarm and most recently Elite Sports Network which includes Fantasy Guru where he is the Executive VP.
One of his greatest accomplishments is working with Sirius/XM fantasy sports radio where he was part of one of the first shows on the channel. He's been there ever since and is does the twitter takeover for many of the sports including Sunday morning during the NFL season.
He has also received multiple FSWA awards in the "Best Baseball Series" category.
